Photo projects in Germany
The photo projects in Germany, which I continue to support on a voluntary basis at my old residence in the artists’ village of Worpswede in the Teufelsmoor, are designed for photography enthusiasts who have been involved for some time and want to continuously expand their photographic knowledge with challenging topics.
Galleries from the Teufelsmoor
The magical light and the clouds expanding over the vast sky in the Teufelsmoor drew the old masters and founders of the artists’ colony to Worpswede. Windmills and peat barges were part of the landscape even then and are still present today. A click on the image opens the corresponding gallery.
Participant photos from the last workshops
Have a look at the participant galleries from the last workshops in Worpswede. In the “Winter Light” course, we experimented with high-key and low-key settings. The topic of the 6th Masterclass was “Tracing the Past.” For the last peat barge armada in 2023, our photo topic was “Up close – Faces of an Armada.” In 2025, we were able to show a selection of the resulting images in an exhibition in Osterholz-Scharmbeck. You can get a few impressions of this exhibition in the report Photo Exhibition “Up Close – Faces of an Armada” on the photo blog.
