Photo projects in Germany
The photo projects in Germany, which I continue to support on a voluntary basis at my old place of residence in the artists’ village of Worpswede in the Teufelsmoor (Devil’s Moor), are designed for photography enthusiasts who have been involved for some time and want to continuously expand their photographic knowledge on challenging topics
Galleries from the Devil’s Moor
The magical light and the clouds above the vast sky in the moor drew the old masters and founders of the artists’ colony to Worpswede. Windmills and peat barges shaped the landscape even then and are still present today. A click on the index image opens the respective gallery.
Participant photos from the last photography workshops
Here you can view the participant galleries from the last workshops in Worpswede. In the “Winter Light” course, we experimented with high-key and low-key settings. The theme of the 6th Masterclass was “Tracing the Past.” For the last peat barge armada in 2023, our photographic theme was “Faces of an Armada.” In 2025, we were able to show a selection of the resulting images in an exhibition at the district administration building in Osterholz-Scharmbeck. You can get a few impressions of this exhibition in the report ” Photo Exhibition Up Close – Faces of an Armada ” on the photo blog.
